Suite 22 is a cosy, deliberately designed psychotherapy space located in Ballow Chambers, a heritage-listed and much-beloved building located in Brisbane’s Spring Hill. Ballow Chambers has been home to many medical professionals and psychotherapists over the last hundred years and it is a great joy to be the custodian of a space within its walls. In 2024, I am glad to be able to make space for new tenants in a recently renovated addition to our rooms.

We are currently expanding our space to be able to offer room rental in four offices within the suite from mid-September 2024. The rooms are ideal for psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and psychotherapists. The space features:

• Separate kitchenette and coffee bar space for practitioners, and a waiting room for patients.

• Separate exit doors in three of the four offices - ideal for practitioners who prefer their clients not to cross paths.

• Furnishings are thoughtful, eclectic and reflective of a sense of the sense of history of the building, but also of the lineage of our work as psychotherapists. The rooms are comfortable, and beautiful, with attention paid to details like lighting, sound-proofing and privacy.

• Coffee, tea, filtered water, candles, essential oils and incense aplenty.

We have a warm, collaborative, collegial atmosphere amongst our tenants and friends in the building, and are grateful for the opportunity to share ideas and support with other helping professionals. We share referrals and connect for peer supervision.

At present, 1-5 day/week tenancies are available, suitable for practitioners interested in building a part-time private practice or transferring to a new space with a full caseload. Half-day options are also available. Please get in touch with me for more details about availability and fees. At present, room rental ranges from $130-$200/day + GST.
